Curaçao Has a New Boutique Hotel

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Curaçao’s newest boutique hotel has opened its doors.

It’s called the Princess Sirena Bay Estate, and it’s a different kind of property for the island.

The brainchild of the Ouborg family, the Princess Sirena Bay Estate is set on the southern coast of the island in greater Willemstad in a restored 18th-century “landhuis” manor home.

The hotel, which is located on its own private beach, has three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms in its main house, along with a collection of six sea-view apartments, four “lower seaside” apartment units and a mini villa called “Kas Chiki.”

The property can also be rented out in its entirety for large groups.
