Dominican Republic Villa Heads to Auction

A seaside retreat nestled in the Dominican Republic is headed for auction.

The sale of the property in the María Trinidad Sánchez Province, facilitated by Concierge Auctions, will take place via the firm’s online marketplace.

Bidding will open May 15 and close May 18.

Currently listed for $1.7 million, the 2.5-acre property, Casa Serena, offers ocean views and exclusive privacy.

With more than 6,900 square feet of living space, the fully-furnished villa features five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, including two master suites with open-air garden showers.

The solar-energy powered home is also equipped with a TV room with a large flat-screen TV; iPod docking station connected to in-residence speakers and complete furnishings of dishes, glassware, linens, and pillow-top mattresses.

Outside, Casa Serena boasts an open-air living space with a 14-seat dining area; terrace complete with Bali-imported furniture; infinity salt water pool; poolside bar; and jacuzzi.

Additional outdoor features include organic herb/vegetable gardens; organic fruit trees; and a rooftop terrace complete with panoramic views of the sea and tropical forest, spiral staircase; lounge beds; and oversized cushions.
