Carnival Paradise Resumes Caribbean Sailings

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Paradise ship has resumed year-round cruise service following a month-long dry dock.

The ship, which is homeporting at Port Tampa Bay, added a new water park, 38 new staterooms, 98 balconies and a range of new food and beverage concepts.

The new dining concepts include Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Burger Joint; the RedFrog Rum Bar and the BlueIguana Tequila Bar, among others.

Guy Fieri’s poolside burger spot is a new addition to the ship.

Carnival Paradise is running four- and five-day cruises that include Cozumel, Roatan and either Key West or Grand Cayman.

The ship is also running four to eight-day cruises to Cuba that include day long and overnight calls in Havana.

“We can’t wait for our guests to check out the fantastic new features aboard Carnival Paradise, which returns to service better than ever offering an exciting combination of itineraries featuring top destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Cuba,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
