After months of renovations due to the damages caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, San Juan’s VIVO Beach Club has officially reopened with an array of new attractions, new entertainment line-up and business strategy.
VIVO Beach Club opened in 2012 as the only self-contained social oceanfront destination club complex in Puerto Rico, with a setting on the sand in San Juan’s Isla Verde neighborhood.
The first multi-million dollar investment of any non-hotel vacation complex on the island, it has developed into a resort experience with service designed to cater to guests and guide them through the best social and entertainment experiences in the region.
VIVO operated nonstop for five years before being forced to close after the devastation of Hurricanes Irma & Maria.
“We are thrilled to announce the official reopening of our beloved VIVO Beach Club, just in time for the 2018 season,” said co-owner Matías Fernandez. “VIVO Beach Club is still a lively oceanfront destination designed for people of all ages, featuring an outdoor beach club and pool, unique restaurants and bars, a convention center, retail shops, music venues, and a full-scale brewery.”
