Dominican Republic’s Casa de Campo “Fully Open and Operational”

By the Caribbean Journal staff

The Dominican Republic’s La Romana did not sustain any major damage due to the passage of Hurricanes Maria and Irma, and now one of the country’s signature resorts, Casa de Campo, says it is back in business.

“We are fully open and operational and are focused on assisting our friends and neighbors in relocating their guests and in the rebuilding process,” the property said in a statement to travelers.

Casa de Campo is set on 7,000 acres in La Romana, with a collection of both rooms and villas.

It is also home to the preeminent golf offering in the region, with three golf courses designed by golf legend Pete Dye.
