Virgin Islands Ferries Resume Operation

In another positive step in the Virgin Islands’ recovery, ferry service resumed Thursday between the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands, according to a statement from the British Virgin Islands tourist board.

The Native Son ferry resumed its daily schedule, departing at 9:30 in the morning from Road Town, Tortola and returning from Charlotte Amalie in St Thomas at 2:30 PM.

The Road Town Fast Ferry also resumed its operations on Thursday, with two daily trips between the two islands: departures from Road Town at 7 AM and 12 PM, along with return trips from Charlotte Amalie at both 8:30 AM and 4:15 AM.

The tourist board also announced that ferry service had resumed to the island of Anegada.
