Hospitality giant Choice Hotels officially has a new CEO.
Patrick Pacious began his tenure as the company’s president and chief executive officer this week.
He succeeds former CEO Steve Joyce, who was recently tapped as the new CEO of DineEquity, Inc.
“I am thrilled to start my tenure as CEO,” Pacious said in a statement, underscoring his “commitment to stay focused on franchisee profitability and work with them to continue to fuel our strong development pipeline, especially our momentum in the upscale segment and our strong core brands.”
Choice has more than 500,000 rooms around the world, including a large portfolio in the Caribbean.
