United Launching New Flights to Mazatlan

United Airlines is launching a pair of new routes to Mexico, the company announced this week.

Beginning in late December, United will launch flights from both Houston and Chicago to the resort town of Mazatlan, Mexico.

“We are pleased to offer the only nonstop service between Mazatlán and Chicago O’Hare and Houston Bush Intercontinental,” said Jake Cefolia, United’s vice president of Sales. “United has provided nonstop service from the U.S. to Mexico for the last 50 years and we look forward to serving Mazatlán, United’s 24th destination in Mexico.”

United will operate service from Chicago to Mazatlan on Saturdays beginning Dec. 23 through April 7, 2018 on an Airbus A319 aircraft.

The Houston-Mazatlan flights will operate on Tuesdayss, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 21 through April 8.

From April 9 through Aug. 13, United will operate Houston-Mazatlan flights on Saturdays, with all Houston-Mazatlan flights operated on Embraer E175 regional jets.
