Caribbean Airlines Increases Trinidad-St. Vincent Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 29, 2017

Caribbean Airlines has expanded its service between Trinidad and St. Vincent.

the carrier is now operating flights between Trinidad and St. Vincent five times per week on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

“This expansion will improve the frequency with which passengers can connect seamlessly to other international and regional destinations,” the company said in a statement.

St. Vincent opened its major new Argyle International Airport earlier this year; it’s hoped that it will soon receive regularly scheduled nonstop flights from the United States.

“We are excited to expand the frequency of service between St. Vincent and Trinidad and Tobago, with easy onward connections to international destinations like New York City,” said Sean Quong Sing, Caribbean Airlines Vice President, Commercial. “Caribbean Airlines is one of the first air carriers to capitalize on the opening of the Argyle International Airport.”

Air Canada will launch the first ever nonstop flights from North America to St. Vincent later this year.
