How to Take an Extended Cruise in the Caribbean

Windstar has launched a new series of back-to-back cruises called “Star Collector Voyages.”

The longer and more in-depth cruises range from 14 to 34 days, featuring few repeated ports and offering the comfort of an extended trip with the luxury of “unpacking only once,” as the company says. (Don’t worry — the voyages include daily laundry service).

“We are thrilled to now offer an extensive collection of longer voyages designed for the person who wants to sail longer, get closer, and discover the world of Windstar 180 degrees from ordinary,” said Windstar President John Delaney.

The Star Collector Voyages include the Caribbean, including “Crossing to the Caribbean Saints,” a 21-day voyage from Portugal to St. Maarten; Caribbean Beaches & Costa Rican Cloudforests, a 14-day journey from Barbados to Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica; and Caribbean Explorations, a 14-day trip sailing round trip out of Philipsburg and stopping in ports like Barbuda, St Barts and St. Lucia.
