Ben & Jerry’s Now Has a Bob Marley Flavor: One Love

Ben & Jerry’s newest flavor is all about the Caribbean.

The company has announced the launch of the new “Bob Marley’s One Love” flavor, named for Bob Marley’s legendary song.

The flavor is the result of a partnership with the Marley family, with a portion of the proceeds from each One Love pint sold benefitting Jamaica’s One Love Youth Camp, a program run by the Bob Marley Foundation and Partners for Youth Empowerment.

The flavor first launched in the United Kingdom, and is now launching in the U.S. market.

It’s a mix of banana ice cream, caramel and cookie swirls, along with chocolatey peace signs.

Marley’s eldest son, the multiple-Grammy-award-winning Ziggy Marley, will kick off the flavor’s launch with a benefit performance at the Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip in California on May 22.
