Why You Need to Visit America’s Best Rum Festival

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 14, 2017

It’s that time of year again — for America’s best rum festival.

The annual Miami Rum Fest and Trade Expo returns next week from April 22-23 at the Doubletree Miami Airport Hotel and Convention Center.

The major event, now in its ninth year, presents hundreds of rums from the Caribbean region and the world, with a consumer-focused Grand Tasting event and a trade show for rum producers, importers, distributors and other professionals in the spirits trade.

Indeed, there’s no event in America with this level of focus on the world of rum.

This year’s slate includes a special American Rum Portfolio featuring US-based rum producers; a VIP Tasting Bar offering samples of rare limited edition rums; a host of celebrity seminars and the RumXP blind tasting competitions.
