A New Dive Shop in Grand Cayman

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 16, 2017

Ocean Frontiers, an award-winning dive operation that has been providing dive services in Cayman for more than 20 years, is partnering with the Wyndham Reef Resort located in Grand Cayman’s remote East End.

The dive company has added four new staff to accommodate its on-site dive shop, which began operations this weekend.

“It is an exciting time for Ocean Frontiers and we are embracing the opportunity to partner with such a high-quality brand as the Wyndham Reef Resort,” said co-owner Steve Broadbelt. “We look forward to introducing their guests to the underwater world and all the wonders the Cayman Islands have to offer.”

All of Ocean Frontiers’ signature scuba diving trips and regular two-tank boat dive trips will be available to guests at the resort.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ocean Frontiers to the resort team,” said Sharlene Brenkus, general manager of Wyndham Reef Resort. “Ocean Frontiers has an impeccable reputation and true passion and respect for the ocean and we are constantly seeking ways to offer a one-of- a-kind travel experience to our guests.”

Divers will be transported to the company’s dock in Gun Bay with a short and convenient shuttle.

The remote East End’s dive sites remain largely untouched, and offer world-class diving.

The staff, trained in marine biology, know the sites intimately and share their knowledge of the wildlife with guests.

“We have high standards for customer service and this has helped us build a loyal customer base over the past 20 years,” said Managing Director Steve Broadbelt.

The shop will also offer a broad snorkeling program.

Guests can choose from seven different snorkel trips around Grand Cayman; East End, the North Sound and the Kittiwake, just off Seven Mile Beach.
