By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 2, 2017

Virgin Gorda’s Yacht Club Costa Smeralda has completed a $3 million expansion and improvement project.

The North Sound facility reopened this week with a new waterside restaurant called Bar Aqua and an improved marina and clubhouse.

YCCS has also added two new guest suites, each of which has views of the North Sound.

“We are very excited by this next stage in the club’s development in Virgin Gorda and are determined to ensure that both th eAzzurra restaurant at the YCCS Clubhouse and Bar Aqua at the YCCS marina become must-visit destinations in the Caribbean.”

The new-look YCCS kicked off the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean this week, with a 50th Anniversary Regatta “parade of sail” on March 7.
