St. Kitts’ Ocean Terrace Inn Names New Chef

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 30, 2017

St. Kitts’ Ocean Terrace Inn has appointed a new executive chef.

The boutique 34-room hotel has appointed St. Lucia native Larry Monrose to the role, in which he will run the hotel’s main restaurant, The Verandah.

“We are confident Chef Larry is the perfect fit for OTI, and that he will take the cuisine at The Verandah to new heights,” said Chris Ghita, General Manger at the Ocean Terrace Inn. “Chef Larry’s cooking style is innovative yet simple, and explores modern variations of contemporary Caribbean cuisine.

His previous work includes stints as sous chef at St. Lucia’s Jade Mountain and Chef de Partie at The Landings St. Lucia, among others.
