Grand Case Beach Club

One of the best beach resorts in the Caribbean (and very popular with CJ readers), this 71-room standout has two lovely beaches, a great beachfront restaurant called Sunset Cafe and warm, ultra-friendly service.

Karibuni Lodge

Perhaps the best couples’ retreat on St. Martin, this hillside lodge has hip, funky rooms and a terrific daily breakfast served right to your room. But the standout feature is the free shuttle service to neighboring Pinel Island and reserved beach lounge seats at one of the region’s coolest beach bars. The pool bar is a must.

L’Esplanade

This hillside hotel has large, comfortable rooms (and great views of the town of Grand Case). It’s also a great jumping off point to explore the culinary wonders of the town, just a short walk down the hill from the property. The pool bar is a standout, too.
