The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino has named a new general manager.

The 357-room property has appointed Hans-Georg Roehrbein to the role, after having served most recently as general manager of the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino in Egypt.

A 30-year industry veteran, Roehrbein has served in management roles across India, Jamaica, Egypt and Puerto Rico, among other stops.

He also helped open the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino.

“Roehrbein brings an exceptional operations and food and beverage background, as well as a proven track record for driving guest and team member engagement, while ensuring positive, proactive owner relations,” the hotel said in a statement.
