Carnival to Start Sailing to Private Bahamian Destination

Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans to begin sailing to the private Bahamian destination of Princess Cays.

Carnival ships will make 40 calls to the destination called Princess Cays in 2017, and 98 calls in 2018.

Princess Cays is located on the far southern tip of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, operated by Carnival’s sister line, Princess Cruises.

The facility includes a 40-acre complex with white-sand beaches, an observation tower, bars, restaurants and retail shops.

Carnival has added the the stop to the itineraries of six different ships: select seven-day cruises aboard Carnival Pride from Baltimore; five-day voyages aboard Carnival Ecstasy from Charleston, S.C.; eight-day sailings on Carnival Conquest from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five-day voyages on Carnival Elation from Jacksonville, Fla.; four-day voyages aboard Carnival Liberty from Port Canaveral, Fla.; and four-day cruises aboard Carnival Sensation from Miami.
