The largely undeveloped island of South Caicos is about to get a major new resort.
The Sailrock Resort is slated to open in the Turks and Caicos on Jan. 20, 2017 and is now accepting reservations.
The resort is located within the Sailrock South Caicos development, which includes a luxury home community.
The resort, which is set on 770 acres on the 8.3-square-mile island, will include a mix of “Ridgetop Suites” and beachfront villas.
The resort will also have a restaurant called the Great House, led by executive chef Jose Francois Alias, serving daily complimentary breakfast.
Future development phases will include more dining options, a golf course and expanded services, along with a spa.
Rates start at $400 per night for an ocean view suite.
