By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 28, 2016

Anguilla’s Zemi Beach House has named a new general manager, Paulo Paias.

Paias comes to the hotel with more than 25 years of hospitality experience, having served most recently as managing director of Asia for Trust Hospitality.

“Since its launch, Zemi Beach House has become a burgeoning hot spot for the affluent traveler that seeks authentic, uniquely Anguillan experiences,” Paias said in a statement. “Having worked with Trust Hospitality over the past year, I’m excited to join the team at one of their newest properties and utilize my international hospitality experience to sustain the hotel’s family dynamic, values and continued success.”

Paias will be leading all aspects of hotel operations at the hotel, including guest services and satisfaction, hotel administration, overseeing marketing efforts and managing the executive team at the resort.

“Paulo is genuinely motivational and has a positive personality that makes him an ideal leader for our hotel staff. We’re certain that he will play an integral role in Zemi Beach House’s bright future,” said Patrick Goddard, president and chief operating officer of Trust Hospitality. “His expertise and background in the luxury hotel space is instrumental for providing extraordinary customer service to our guests.”
