Delta Air Lines and Seaborne Airlines are expanding their codeshare agreement, the two companies announced.
The agreement allows customers to purchase a single ticket for select flights between the US and the Caribbean (it also allows Delta Skymiles members to earn miles on Seaborne flights booked through Delta).
Through the agreement, customers can now book travel with connections to Seaborne operated flights between San Juan and St. Croix; St. Thomas and St. Croix, San Juan and Anguilla and San Juan and Beef Island.
“The Delta-Seaborne partnership will give our customers more options when traveling to or from the Caribbean, expanding our reach throughout the region and increasing the number of destinations we serve,” said Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s Vice President – Latin America and the Caribbean. “This agreement also provides the benefits of coordinated customer service, such as a single ticket and bag check-in process. We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership and providing our customers with even more convenience and connectivity in the future.”
Now, the plan is to expand the partnership further, with a future expansion that would include Seaborne flights to Dominica, Nevis and La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
The agreement will also provide enhanced coverage (with increased frequencies and service on more days of the week) to destinations including St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Croix.

Not only did our $9 million investment establish the airline on Puerto Rican soil, creating hundreds of jobs, but it has also established connections to other islands in the Caribbean, bringing an economic boost to the whole area.”
