This Is Sunsail’s Newest Catamaran

Sunsail 454

Sailing charter firm Sunsail has unveiled the newest addition to its feet: the Sunsail 454 catamaran.

The new ship, which was designed by Robertson & Caine, succeeds the Sunsail 444 with a redesign of interior accommodations and exterior styling.

“Sunsail continues to challenge us to be at the forefront of yachting innovation by balancing what charter guests want with heightened sailing performance,” said John Robertson, of Robertson & Caine.

The new yacht also has a sharper, more angular look, along with a sleek new deck hardtop.

On the interior side, the size of hull windows has been dramatically increased, and an overhead skylight has been added to the saloon.

The Sunsail 454 offers four double cabins, each with their own en-suite bathroom and shower.

It will be available for charters in the British Virgin Islands and St Martin this fall, with a wider eventual rollout planned in the Caribbean.

“The new 454 catamaran is a spectacular addition to the Sunsail fleet,” said Scott Farquharson, Sunsail General Manager.  “The design is clearly still signature Robertson & Caine, but the sleeker silhouette and refined interior create a new level of on-the-water experience. This is a sharp looking and incredible performing boat.”
