Seaborne Expanding Flights to Anguilla

Seaborne Anguilla

Puerto Rico-based regional carrier Seaborne Airlines is expanding its flights to the island of Anguilla.

The carrier will be expanding from three days a week to five days a week, along with two flights, including an evening flight, on both Saturday and Sunday.

The expanded service will begin Nov. 1.

“Anguilla is an important market for Seaborne, and we see tremendous potential for this destination,” said Fernando Vazquez, Managing Director of Airports for Seaborne Airlines. “We appreciate the cooperation we have received from the Anguilla Tourist Board, and we look forward to working closely to promote this service.  It is in all our best interests to ensure that our planes are flying full this winter.”

Schedule and fares for the new Seaborne Anguilla flights are currently being finalized, according to the Anguilla Tourist Board.

“This expanded service will make a significant and positive impact in enhancing connectivity from all our source markets,” said Mrs. Donna Banks, ATB Chairperson.  “The evening flight will facilitate connections from the West Coast of the US and from Europe, while the morning flight from Anguilla enables seamless connections for the return home. Improving access is a critical factor as we seek to increase overall tourist arrivals.”
