Jamaica Casino Resort Project Buys $40 Million Land Site

Jamaica Casino Resort

The Celebration Jamaica planned casino resort project has paid $40.1 million for a 96.5-acre land site in Rose Hall.

The sale was approved of the Success Estate in Rose Hall by Jamaica’s Cabinet this week, paving the way for a major new “integrated” resort project.

The Jamaica Casino Resort project will include a hotel complex, a casino resort and auxiliary facilities.

“It should be noted that this sale price holds with the caveat of completion of the sale within a year and further stipulates that the sum be paid in United States dollars,” said Information Minister Ruel Reid.

The project is slated to have some 2,000 rooms, according to the most recent plan.
