Antigua’s Blue Waters Resort has named a new general manager.

The property has appointed Alistair Forrest as its general manager, marking a return to the role for Forrest, who had previously served at the resort in the role from 2008-2012.

Forrest was most recently the general manager at the Nisbet Plantation in Nevis, and has also served at Cobblers Cove in Barbados and hotels including the Royal Antiguan Resort and the St James’s Club.

“We look forward to a successful new chapter in Blue Waters’ evolution with Alistair Forrest returning as General Manager,” said R. L. Randall, Chairman of Blue Waters. “My commitment to Blue Waters remains as passionate as it has always been and I’m excited to announce further investments into Blue Waters this year under Alistair’s direction.”

The property has already unveiled renovations and enhancements to the resort, including the Bartley’s Restaurant, the reception area and the Pelican Bar.

Further improvements planned include the Cove Suites and the Cove Restaurant.

“It is an honor for me to be joining once again the distinguished team at Blue Waters Resort & Spa, which has an excellent reputation for its high levels of personal service and a loyal following of repeat guests,” Forrest said. “I look forward to helping the resort continue its service excellence and meet the ever-changing needs of the affluent traveller.”
