The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Bermuda has officially broken ground.
The hotel, which will be known as the Ritz-Carlton Reserve Caroline Bay, Bermuda, is slated to debut on the island in 2018.
It is the product of a long-term management agreement with George’s Bay Hotel Ltd and George’s Bay Residences Ltd.
The property will be the third Ritz-Carlton Reserve to open in the wider region, along with the existing Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and the planned opening of Puerto Los Cabos, Ritz-Carlton Reserve in 2018.
The hotel is set on the western end of Bermuda with 2.5 miles of shoreline on a peninsula that extends into the Great Sound.

The groundbreaking ceremony saw Humler together with Bermuda Premier Michael Dunkley and Morgan’s Point CEO Craig Christensen, along with more than 40 local government and business leaders.
