Heading to the Virgin Islands this weekend? You could be in for a treat.

The Ritz-Carlton St Thomas is partnering with St Thomas’ Frenchtown Brewing Company for a special craft beer event to celebrate Father’s Day.

Frenchtown, which is St Thomas’ only commercial craft brewery, is offering three craft beers for the tasting: Hop Alley IPA, Frenchie Farmhouse Saison and Rooster Brown Ale.

Guests will be able to taste the brews over lunch at the hotel’s Sails eatery or on the beach, or try a 32-ounce steak special at the oceanfront Bleuwater restaurant that includes Frenchtown beers.

“We always strive to bring a taste of local culture to our guests, so the partnership with Frenchtown Brewing Company is a great opportunity to showcase local flavors,” said Subin Dharman, director of food and beverage for the resort. “The brewery is new and the beers are only found in St. Thomas, so it’s truly a unique island experience for visiting guests and local residents alike.”

Kevin Brown, founder and master brewer at Frenchtown, will also be on hand at the hotel to discuss the beers and answer any questions.
