St Kitts’ Pirate’s Nest Targeting 2017 Opening

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 30, 2016

St Kitts has seen a hotel development boom in recent years, and now another hotel is closer to its debut.

The Pirate’s Nest Hotel and Condominium Project is targeting a third-quarter 2017 opening.

That will include a reception area and a first phase of 170 rooms.

The second phase of the hotel is slated for completion by the first quarter of 2018.

“We are now making sure that our human capital is developed to such an extent that our people are ready to take over the jobs that will be in abundance when projects like this come on stream,” said St Kitts and Nevis Tourism Minister Lindsay Grant.

The project is located on more than seven acres of St Kitts’ Frigate Bay, with an eventual total of 284 rooms.

The project is designed by Magic Chun Sing Kwan.
