There’s Now a Solar-Powered Microbrewery in the Caribbean

The Caribbean microbrewery movement is very much in full swing.

More and more microbreweries are popping up around the region, particularly at hotels, like the Hyatt Ziva Cancun and the Capella Marigot Bay in St Lucia.

Now, there’s another new microbrewery in the Caribbean — but it’s got an extra asset: it’s solar-powered.

The Cooper Island Beach Club in the British Virgin Islands has launched what is the first-ever solar-powered microbrewery in the Caribbean.

It’s the latest creative idea from what is one of the Caribbean’s coolest hotels (and a CJ favorite).

The brewery officially opens March 20.
