British Virgin Islands Set for Superyacht Regatta

One of the world’s top superyacht regattas is set to begin again in the British Virgin Islands.

The Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous returns to the BVI from March 9 to 12, with 29 superyachts set to participate in this year’s event.

Some of the yachts include Clan VIII, Ganesha and Ocean Phoenix, among others.

The regatta is hosted at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Virgin Gorda, the Caribbean outpost of the famous Costa Smeralda club in Sardinia.

This year, the club is launching the Westport Rendezvous, which invites motor yacht owners to join in the regatta event program both on and off the water, along with following the racing and “enjoy the spectacle of the sailing fleet.”
