There’s a New Wine Bar in Bonaire

For several years, Bonaire has been developing a culinary scene that’s one of the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets, from the world-class At Sea restaurant to creative cantinas.

Now, the Dutch Caribbean island has a new addition to the scene: Barrel Wine Bar.

The Kralendikj-area spot is Bonaire’s new haven for oenophiles, with regular tastings of wines from around the world and a selection of cheeses, meats and tapas.

It’s set just around the corner of the South Pier Mall on the capital’s oceanfront boulevard.
