The Nonsuch Bay resort in Antigua is planning a significant expansion.

The project is planning a $58 million expansion project that will include a combination of 188 new condominium and hotel units, according to Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Minister Asot Michael.

The project will also include a yacht club, spa, gym and wellness center, along with fine-dining restaurants and tennis and squash courts.

Michael said this week in a budget statement that construction was slated to begin this month, running for the next 36 months.

According to the Minister, 180 jobs will be available during construction, while 140 permanent new jobs will be added when the facility opens.
