A leading hotel in Curacao has been rebranded following its sale, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The Avila Hotel, the island’s oldest hotel, was recently sold to the Vogels family, who also owns the island’s Lions Dive and Beach Resort.
Under the new ownership, the property has rebranded to become the Avila Beach Hotel.
The new name comes as the hotel has undergone an extensive beach upgrade and room renovation.
