This Jamaican Travel Company Is Looking to South America

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 10, 2016

If the Caribbean wants to continue its tourism growth, it will have to look south.

Now, a major tour company in Jamaica is doing just that.

Jamaica’s Glamour Destination Management has appointed São Paulo-based Mondo Travel Marketing as its sales and marketing representative in South America.

Founded in 2012, Mondo Travel Marketing has quickly become a leader in destination management in South America.

“We are truly delighted with being represented by such an august company, especially with the emergence of South America as a major source of travel business for Jamaica,” said Rachel Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Glamour DMC. “With major hotel players on-island available airlift to Jamaica, the future augurs well for us.”

Glamour launched in 1987 and specializes in Meetings & Incentives groups and event planning, logistics and site selection.

The company provides services including ground transportation, expedited and VIP airport arrival and departure, private tours and excursions, and accommodation rate negotiations, among others.
