VIDEO: What It’s Like to Snorkel in Champagne in the Caribbean

It’s one of the wonders of the Caribbean — how subterranean volcanic activity creates the feeling of snorkeling in champagne in the waters off of the island’s southern coast.

It’s called Champagne Reef, and it’s the most exciting dive site on an island full of tremendous diving and snorkeling.

The “bubbly” is due to tiny vents releasing the heat from beneath the surface.
