This Caribbean Resort’s New Focus on Wine

St Lucia’s Landings resort has a new food and beverage director with serious wine credentials.

The resort has named Eric Toles as its new director of food and beverage, after three years of serving at the tony Cotton House Resort in Mustique.

“We welcome Eric Toles to our resort,” said Kathy Taylor, Chair of The Landings St. Lucia’s Executive Committee. “As a member of The Court of Master Sommeliers, Eric brings a unique level of sophistication, expertise and skill to The Landings. His service as the resort’s sommelier will greatly enhance our guests’ experience.”

Toles, who has also worked at St Lucia’s Jade Mountain resort, has studied wines for almost two decades, and said he is looking forward to revitalizing the wine experience at the property.

“The Landings is the perfect setting in which to host an international wine-maker dinner series, featuring notable wine makers from the around the world,” Toles said.

Toles will also be launching a new cocktail beverage program at the resort’s Turquoise Beach Bar and Viscount Lounge, among other plans.
