A New Beach Lounge at Occidental Grand Xcaret

The Occidental Grand Xcaret resort has expanded its beach facilities.

The property recently completed a $280,000 upgrade to the Arena Beach Lounge areas at the all-inclusive resort, which is adjacent to the Xcaret Park near Playa del Carmen.

The lounge, which overlooks a private beach, has added new Jacuzzis, beach beds and lounge chairs.

The resort’s First Club and Grand Level members now have an exclusive bar adjacent to the lounge, according to the company.

“Our new Arena Beach further confirms OVC’s overall mission to provide our members with excellent holidays,” said Luis Namnum, president of Occidental Vacation Club. “We enjoy ‘surprising’ our members with the new investment, facilities and services.”

Occidental Vacation Club has resorts in Aruba, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
