Southwest Airlines is continuing its Caribbean expansion out of its hub at Houston’s Hobby Airport.

The carrier launched service between Houston and Montego Bay, Jamaica on Sunday.

The Houston-Montego Bay flight departs at 10:35 AM, returning around 6:15 PM from Jamaica.

The daily nonstop flights are the latest Caribbean destinations for the carrier, which launched Cancun and Belize service out of Hobby last month.

Southwest already operates nonstop service to San Juan, Puerto Rico and Aruba on Saturdays, meaning a total of 10 nonstop routes out of the new hub, where it has invested heavily in a terminal expansion project.

Last year, Southwest launched its first-ever international service with flights to Aruba, Montego Bay and Nassau, Bahamas out of Baltimore/Washington, followed by flights to Cancun and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
