JetBlue Expanding Service to Curaçao

By Alexander Britell

WILLEMSTAD — JetBlue is expanding its service to Curaçao.

The company announced Thursday that it would be adding a third weekly flight out of New York from the end of next year.

That’s a dramatic increase for the carrier’s service from New York’s John F Kennedy Airport to the Dutch Caribbean island, which only launched flights at the end of December 2014.

“The island has quickly proved to be a big hit with our customers,” said JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes, who was the keynote speaker at the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s SOTIC conference this week.

“We’re thrilled to make it even easier to get here,” Hayes said.
