The airport at Deadman’s Cay on Long Island in the Bahamas has reopened following damage from Hurricane Joaquin, the country’s Department of Civil Aviation announced.

The airport is now “open and operational to receive commercial flights,” the department said in a statement.

Due to structural damage in the hurricane, however, the airport’s terminal remains out of service, according to the statement.

Joaquin led to the closure of a number of airports in the Bahamas, although most have now reopened for service.
