Caribbean Airlines Flight Diverts to Fort Lauderdale after Technical Difficulties

A Caribbean Airlines flight from New York to Kingston diverted to Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday after experiencing technical difficulties, the company said in a statement.
Caribbean Airlines said the flight “diverted to Fort Lauderdale International airport without incident where passengers and crew disembarked.”
Arrangements are being made for the “onward travel” of all passengers, the company said.
“In keeping with international aviation industry practice, Caribbean Airlines will conduct a full investigation with the manufacturer and regulators to ensure the identification of the cause,” the company said. “Caribbean Airlines apologises for any inconvenience caused and assures its customers that the safety of its passengers and crew is the airline’s number one priority.”
