Carnival’s New Flight Options

Carnival Cruise Line has launched its new Fly2Fun air program, designed to provide guests with what it’s billing as maximum value, choice, and convenience when booking flights in conjunction with their cruise.

The program allows guests to customize their air reservations with a variety of options, including the ability to select their preferred air carrier, departure point, specific schedule, and type of accommodation according to the company.

Guests who wish to extend their vacation with a pre-or post-cruise stay will also have the option to customize their flights accordingly.

“Our new Fly2Fun program is a convenient tool that saves our guests valuable time when booking their flights while offering attractive features like the Flight Protection Program that provides peace of mind knowing we’ll fly them to the next port should they miss their cruise,” said Vicky Blanch, Carnival’s director of travel operations.

Under the Flight Protection Program, Carnival will cover air, hotel, transportation, and meal coasts for guests to meet their ship in the next port of call if miss their departure due to airline mechanical or weather-related issues .

Guests can choose from two options available within the Fly2Fun program: Flexible Air and Restricted Air.

Flexible Air allows guests to book travel on major carriers up to four days prior to sailing with a “Book Now – Pay Later” feature, under which payment for flights is collected with final cruise payment and is not subject to change fees if modifications are made outside of 60 days of departure.

With the Restricted Air option, tickets are non-refundable, air tickets must be paid at the time of booking, and change fees are based on the airlines’ policies once the tickets are issued.
