All-inclusives to try right now

Summer’s over; the kids are back to school and there are still about 15 work weeks left before the holidays. But it’s not ALL bad news.
The fall is also the Caribbean’s shoulder season, when rates on everything from rooms to restaurants plummet in advance of the mid-December high season. These next few months bring opportunities to get serious savings on a tropical getaway, especially at all inclusive resorts that bundle everything into one price. So check out these all-you-can-everything deals, and then start plotting your escape.
Beaches Resorts
Save four ways at Beaches resorts with the chain’s Fall 4 Beaches promotion when you book now for travel through November 22. Guests can get one free night; up to $175 in spa or tour credit; up to $355 instant air credit; or save up to 65% on room rates at hotels in Jamaica.
Club Med
Guests who book rooms at across the company’s Caribbean properties now through October 27 can save as much as 40 percent on stays on select dates all the way through to April 27, 2016 with their Press Pause sale. But wait, there’s more! Reserve at Club Med Punta Cana or Club Med Cancun Yucatan, and get up to $150 per person in air credit.
Coconut Bay
This St. Lucia all-inclusive offers good value year-round but their family-friendly fall deal is almost too good to pass up! Stay five nights or longer between October 1 and December 20, and take advantage of rates that start at just $157 per person, including transfers from Hewanorra International Airport. Even better: Kids under four stay free; 4- to 12-year-olds are $31 per night; and ages 13 to 17 stay for just $63 per night.
Riu Playacar
Book now through October 26 for stays October 10 through 26 at the newly-renovated Riu Playacar and score a room for just $106 per person per night. And since up to two kids per room stay free, you can afford to bring the whole gang to this Mexican resort just two miles from Playa Del Carmen.
Sunscape, Now and Dreams Resorts
With these resorts’ Kids Stay, Play and Eat Free promotion 12-year-olds and younger do just as long as they share a room with two paying adults. The promotion runs until December 23 (with Nov 25-28 blackout dates) and is valid at hotels in Curaçao, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
