Asu on the Beach set for debut

The Alexandra Resort is set to open a new beachfront restaurant in early October.
The restaurant is to be named Asú on the Beach, which means “sunset” in Taino, the native language of the Arawak Indians who inhabited the Turks and Caicos Islands centuries ago.
The newly renovated facilities overlook Grace Bay Beach.
The property said “cheerful, contemporary décor” would welcome guests during the day, while night patrons will enjoy a dining experience under the sky.
The new indoor dining area will feature an open kitchen concept, an upgraded bar and dining area, and an air conditioned function room for private events.
