A New GM for Hyatt’s All-Inclusive Resorts in Jamaica

A new hire for Hyatt

Hyatt’s Jamaica all-inclusives have a new general manager.

Playa Resorts Management has announced the appointment of Diego Concha as general manager for both the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica.

Both properties opened in December 2014 as Hyatt’s first all-inclusives in the English-speaking Caribbean.

“Diego is an international hotelier with an extensive background in managing luxury Hyatt branded resorts throughout the Caribbean as well as globally,” said Alex Stadlin, CEO of Playa Resorts Management. “Diego will spend the month of September at the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva resorts in Mexico, and officially begin his tenure at Hyatt Zilara & Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall on October 1, 2015. We look forward to welcoming his leadership and operations expertise as we continue to provide the perfect backdrop for guests to enjoy an authentic destination experience in a luxury all-inclusive setting.”

Concha had served most recently at the Grand Hyatt Colombo in Sri Lanka. In the Caribbean, his experience includes stints as general manger of the former Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman, Hyatt Regency Aruba, Hyatt Regency Trinidad, and the former Hyatt Regency Curacao.

The Ziva and Zilara properties have 386 and 234 suitess respectively.
