Martinique, St Lucia Lightly Shaken By 4.9-Magnitude Earthquake
Quake shakes Eastern Caribbean islands

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake caused shaking in Martinique and St Lucia over the weekend, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake, which struck early Saturday morning, struck at a depth of 74 kilometres.
Its epicentre was around 95 kilometres east-southeast of Martinique’s capital, Fort-de-France.
There were reports of weak to light shaking in Martinique and Saint Lucia, along with a minor report of shaking as far southeast as Barbados.
The Caribbean is a seismically active region.
