How You Can Go on a Rum Cruise Around the Caribbean

The Rum Renaissance Caribbean Rum Cruise set for November 15 sailing

By the Caribbean Journal staff

It’s the dream for any rum lover: cruising around the Caribbean, visiting rum distilleries and sipping aged spirits.

But it’s not a dream, thanks to the Rum Renaissance Caribbean Rum Cruise, which continues again this year.

From Robert Burr and the team behind the famous Miami Rum Festival, the cruise includes rum seminars, tasting events, rum shopping, excursions to rum distilleries and more, all on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas cruise ship.

This year’s cruise sails out of Puerto Rico, departing Nov. 15 and returning Nov. 22.

The itinerary includes Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, Sint Maarten, St Croix and St Maarten, with visits to distilleries including St Nicholas Abbey, Mount Gay, Foursquare, English Harbour, St Lucia Distilleries, Diageo, Cruzan, Bacardi and the Don Q Welcome Center.

Space is limited, so get rumming!
