Regional carrier continues expansion

InterCaribbean Airways and British Airways have teamed up to launch an agreement that will provide new options for European travelers to the Caribbean.
The new interairline agreement will provide single-ticket purchasing for journeys combining flights with British Airways, its affiliates and InterCaribbean Airways.
“InterCaribbean Airways’ new interline ticketing agreement with British Airways increases the travel choices of travelers coming to the Caribbean, whether a two or three island trip, travelers can pick their choices,” said Trevor Sadler, CEO of interCaribbean Airways.
InterCaribbean currently serves 12 cities in six Caribbean countries, and is preparing to launch several new cities by the end of 2015.
“Over the last 18 months interCaribbean retimed its schedule to create convenient ‘to and through connections’ giving many travelers in the region choices never before available,” Sadler said. “With this new agreement we are proud to be able to partner with British Airways.”
