The British Virgin Islands has announced a variety of new airlift options coming to the British Overseas Territory.

These new flights come as the BVI prepares for what is expected to be a busy winter season.

In response to increased demand, VI Airlink has introduced a twice-a-week service, connecting Virgin Airlines and British Airways flights from Antigua to the BVI on Fridays and Saturdays.

LIAT has also announced a daily flight service between Tortola and San Juan, Puerto Rico, which will provide convenient same-day connections to New York, Newark and Orlando on JetBlue and United.

“Transportation initiatives such as the cruise pier expansion and increased airlift make paradise in the BVI more accessible than ever,” said Sharon Flax-Mars, Director of the BVI Tourist Board.
