Caribbean Home: A Private Island in the Abacos for $1.95 Million

Scour the listings of private islands in the region, most of which are located in the Bahamas, and you’ll see a slew of them on the market for tens of millions of dollars.

But if you look a little deeper, you’ll find some “affordable” ones — the ones that cost less than some homes in Connecticut.

Take this one, for example: it’s called Prince Cay, located in the Abacos (the Bahamas), and has nine acres of space.

It’s just two miles west of Spanish Cay (which has its own airstrip), and is just 15 miles away from Treasure Cay International Airport.

But what you’re really interested in is the beach, and this one has a classic Bahamian beauty: soft white sand, turquoise vistas and, most importantly, unmatched privacy.

It’s the Caribbean dream — and it just might be within reach.

Prince Cay is listed with HG Christie’s John Christie.
